Award Background Design Awards
IDA International Design Awards was established in 2007. The awards were established to recognize and promote innovative design results and to discover emerging talents in the fields of architecture, interiors, industrial products, graphic design and fashion design, drawing attention to iconoclastic designs around the world.
The jury is composed of well-known designers and professional media in the fields of global architecture, design, and fashion. It is committed to stimulating public attention to outstanding designs around the world, leading and promoting new concepts that are subversive and innovative, and looking for truly unique Design works of international standards.

Submit an entry
Picture/Design Description/PDF Submission
Each work can submit up to 1 main image and 10 images.
Each image must not exceed 4MB, the shortest side is larger than 1000 pixels, JPEG or PNG. Please use letters or numbers for image names.
If you wish to submit more work description information, please submit a PDF format file. The PDF cannot exceed 4MB and the English design description cannot exceed 120 words.
Participating designers also need to provide the following information
a. Name of chief designer
b.Project name
c. Entry categories (multiple categories available)
d. List of design team members
e. High-definition photos of participating designers/organization LOGO
f.Customer name
g. Company address, email, phone number, contact person
h. Design, product (video, online materials, website, etc.) link address
Participation fee
Entry fee: US$250 for the first work, US$200 for the second work; 50% off for another category;
Award application fee: RMB 1,200 for each work;
HBI exclusive discount: Participating through the HBI registration channel can enjoy a 10% discount, and a 50% discount on the registration fee.

On September 6, 2021, the IDA International Design Awards 2019-2020 Biennial Awards Ceremony was grandly held at the Guangzhou Grand Theater. This is the first time in 14 years that IDA has been officially authorized to hold an awards ceremony outside its place of origin. It has also authorized IDA’s only ceramic partner in China, HBI European High-end Ceramics, to host the IDA International Design Awards 2019-2020 Biennial Awards Ceremony.
